The original @starwars trilogy in novel form, vcd, dvd and bluray. All 6 movies on dvd and bluray. 12 @koto_official statues. 12 Black Series figures. The Millennium Falcon and two more ships coming in soon. A collectors edition deck of cards with every awesome #StarWars film poster, 6 other 2x3 feet posters and a few tshirts :) Can you guess as to what I'm excited about this Christmas. :D
I think I first saw Star Wars after my 10th standard and I've been hooked on to the series ever since. That's when I picked up the 3 movie vcd set (the original trilogy) from a family vacation in Singapore (dvds and blurays were a thing of the future back then.)
When I first saw the 3 movies...I was blown away! The sheer brilliance of the Star Wars universe was something else. It was immersive and I totally lost myself in it. Back then getting any movie merchandise in India was near impossible and so I had nothing. But I made up for it in the last 2 years! The best collefctibles I own are the Kotobukiya statues. They're just awesome. Perfect in details and they just look so cool. The Millennium Falcon was fun to build. It was a Revell product and came in sheets. Spent a couple of hours cutting the parts out and built the Falcon from scratch. I'm getting Luke's X Wing Fighter kit and Darth Vader's Tie Fighter kit very soon. My Christmas presents for this year and I can't wait to make them.
The movies are obviously best enjoyed in the bluray format...and I think I'm going to do a 6 movie marathon before Christmas next week!
Yes. I'm 34 and I am married (sorry my fellow Star Wars geeks....some of us get the girl!) to an increible woman who gets my passion for Star Wars and we're both so kicked about watching Episode VII!
IT IS GOING TO BE LEGENDARY! I can just feel it!
Wooo hooo!
May the force be with you :)
